Remember this pretty bridal shower I co-hosted with some dear friends? Well that beautiful young lady tied the knot this summer and she has been kind enough to let me share the photos of her truly magical day! The ceremony took place in a clearing nestled between two large oak trees at the Chumash Museum in Thousand Oaks. The ceremony was followed by hors d’oeuvres in a large gazebo and then a beautiful reception under twinkle lights. The tables were lined with eucalyptus, garden roses, peonies and babies breath. The dessert table was overflowing with homemade treats (cookies, caramels, cake). Haley, the bride, was absolutely stunning in her elegant lace gown. All the details were just right. But perhaps the most beautiful part of the wedding were all the people who love the bride and groom to the ends of the earth and came together to make this day perfect. From the flowers to the desserts, to the chalkboards, the lighting and the place settings–every detail was made with love by the bride and groom and their dear family and friends– a truly impressive DIY wedding.

Hi Ashley,
What a beautiful, whimsical wedding! Thanks for sharing this!
I’ve been a huge fan of your blog for years — you may not remember, but I reached out to you on Facebook a couple years ago and was so elated when you responded…and then ridiculously embarrassed when I noticed I’d accidentally misspelled your name :O! I wanted to thank you though — I’ve been really inspired by your blog and have recently started one of my own. Your posts about tips for new bloggers have been immensely helpful, but so has just reading your blog — it’s given me a clearer vision about how I hope to connect with people, too. So, if you ever find yourself wondering if what you’re doing is meaningful and reaching people, the answer is, unwaveringly, YES — and I am confident that I am not alone in that opinion.
All the best,
McKenna

One of the reasons we chose Microsoft over Google was because a lot of folks were very concerned, and rightfully so, about
for student class room, fix errors, data privacy and the possibility that student data would be mined. From our own research, we felt that Microsoft was a safer solution.”
