I'm Ashley. Sometimes I craft, occasionally I cook, everyday I write, and I'm always Momma. This is my blog. I keep it real while still seeing the rainbows and butterflies in all of life's lessons.

DEF wasted money on a wipe warmer as well… glad I’m not the only one! Lil W was/is SOOOO adorable! You’ve got a heartbreaker on your hands, FOR SURE! And that last picture is awesome!
Liz
those are precious. it makes me want to have more babies. 🙂 priceless…
Erika @ t.e. and baby
Sooo precious!
My favorite moments so far are:
-Waking up in the morning to huge baby grins.
-Feeling like the funniest girl in the world because my baby giggles at every thing I do (baby giggles are the best!)
-Cuddling close to my baby girl every night before bed and feeling her crazy hair tickle my face (she seriously has the craziest hair ever. I love every strand!)
Being a mom is the greatest thing ever.
Megan
Caitlin’s first giggle.
Mackenzie’s first grin.
That feeling when they bear hug your neck and they have no idea what they are doing because they are so small, but it makes your heart explode and your eyes tear…
Those moments!!
Great post!! Love the pictures!
Erica @ Acire Adventures
wipes warmer not a waste for me, haha, it was about forty below zero when my boy was born and we lived in a COLD basement…
Best mommy moments…
-baby choking on mucus within the first 15 minutes of being alone with him the first time
-catching daddy & baby naps
-laughter

Three favorite moments? Thanks for asking, Little Miss Momma!
1. The first time Nick signed the word “open”. It was the first step in our struggle to teach him how to communicate. Now he’s babbling constantly!
2. Listening to Nick laugh for the first time when we were playing, “5 Little Monkeys were jumping…” I would bounce him up and down, and then shake my head, and make a silly noise for the “no more monkeys…” part.
3. Nick was about 3-4 weeks old, and it was about 3 AM. I was having a little meltdown, and feeling like I just couldn’t do it, I couldn’t be a mom, and all of a sudden, Nick put his little arm around my neck, as if he was trying to comfort me, and let me know it was OK, I was doing a good job. I think back to that moment when I feel like I’m not the best mom.
Rachel D.
!. Nursing my first baby.
2. When my twins were born safely.
3. Seeing all my girls laughing at each other and playing together.
Lena K.
1. Nursing in the still of the night and praying over my babies.
2. watching those chubby legs kicking and arms punching while they laugh at something as hilarious as a ceiling fan.
3. the smell of bald, baby head..yummm!
you are ALMOST making me want another one. almost!
Where is your polka dot bathing suit from?!?!?
Lauren @ Me&Mine
he is seriously the cutest baby ever!

This post is beyond precious!! I may need to write one like this soon…I Loved reading it, and your little boy is beyond handsome! I just became a new mommy in may, so you think Id remember those little moments, and everything is in my journal thank goodness!!
-Waking up in the middle of the night to look at my precious, newborn baby, sleeping and dreaming away, Loved those sleeping smiles.
-The first full out giggle at 4 months! I could not get enough of it and always tried to get her to laugh again!
-Love when im holding Zo and she touches my face while staring at me, then grins when I do!
Melts my heart!
Being a momma is such a blessing. Its so hard sometimes, but so amazing! I think if everyone got great amounts of sleep since day 1, we would all be a lot more sain : ) Oh well though, its still wonderful!
misty
1. Nursing my little one…. by far the best experience I have ever had.
2. Seeing him smile at me for the first time.
3. Hearing his laugh.
4.Hearing him say Da-da- his first word.
Okay so I have 4. = )
xoxo, Misty

OMG…they grow up way too fast!!
Their first actual smile and realizing it’s an actual smile and not a pre/post fart moment haha
morning smiles…so glad that, for now anyway, they are both morning girls
when Emma could eat actual food and we stopped with the bottle…I can’t wait for that moment with Taitum haha
great post! LOVE IT
Summer @ Made By Munchie's Mama
1. Having my boys placed on my chest right after they were born. It was such a relief to have them here safely.
2. Bringing baby #2 home from the NICU. It was devastating to leave the hospital without him when I was discharged.
3. Hearing Baby #1 say Yaya “dada” for the first time. He is 2 and his only word is mama. When ever we tell him to say dada he always says mama so it was so exciting to hear him try to say dad instead. We were shocked and elated!!!
I love being a mom, especially to my 2 boys. There are so sweet and my older one is always hugging my leg or climbing on my back to hug my neck. They are total mama’s boys!
Olivia Booska
I cannot get over how cute your family is! Ya’ll are all gorgeous!!!!!!
Saffakate
So sweet! I bet it feels like time has just flown by. Im 4 months along with our very first precious little one and just can’t wait for all these moments.
P.S. Not buying a wipe warmer anymore. haha!
Tracy
These are adorable pics, love the 3 of you in the beach hole!
1. Holding each of my kids for the first time. The feeling of love, the smell of a newborn and the joy in my heart.
2. Seeing my boys see their sister for the first time and both of them were instantly in love. Both wanting to hold her, kiss her and love on her all day long.
3. The first time you hear your child say: Muma, I love you!
Jennifer
1. Sleeping on me for the first 3 months.
2. Taking her for her first long walk around town/taking pics of her with flowers behind her ears.
3. Watching her face the first time she walked.
Melanie Cantelmo
He is sooooo stinking cute! Wipes warmer is such a waste of money!
Stephanie {Luxe Boulevard}
You know, as a disposable wipe warmer, they are a waste of money. But they are great for saving money on wipes! Assuming you’re not afraid of washing dirty baby stuff. Buy those little baby washcloths from the dollar store, get them wet, and store them in the wipe warmer. It keeps them warm and moist for diaper change time, then you can wash them and do it all over again. I just kept a leftover container for the disposable wipes on hand to toss the dirty cloths in. Easy dump into the washing machine!
Of course, I know now you’re babe is a bit too old for that tactic … LOL! I’ve got one left in diapers, and I’m counting the days until Liv sits her butt on the toilet.
Wendy
Hard to narrow down to three but as my littlest just turned one iI have been thinkng about these moments.
1. Hearing their first cries and knowing that our little one was safely into this world.
2. Nursing and being able to comfort the simpliest of needs.
3. Watching my girls love on each other when think no one is watching.
Angie
I have an almost 13 year old & a 15 month old soon. I so want to slow down time. I look at my girl and wonder how in the world she grew up so fast.
Precious Precious Photos & Post!!!
I am LOVD
My one and only is 9 years old now. I’m remembering back to the good ole’ days when 1. he got in the car when I wanted to get in the car, 2. went to the store whether he liked it or not, and not to sound like a complainer, my third would be the small amount of space he took up in his bed when he slept. Now, I see more boy than bed.
Kari
It’s crazy how all those words/phrases hold so much meaning to me now. You’re totally speaking my language! 🙂 I can’t believe Adam will be 6 months old this month. My three favorites write now are:
+ rubbing my cheek across his soft fuzzy head
+ lying on a blanket beside him and seeing his smile out of the corner of my eye while I read him his favorite books
+ doing crazy dances when showering with the shower curtain wide open while he sits in his Bebe Pod chair and laughs at me….oh wait, that’s not really my favorite thing…but it’s my “new normal!”
Ashley Williams
Lil W is so. stinking. cute. I can only hope I have babies one day that look like that! I loveee following your blog and you’re so amazing! Thanks for making my days with all your creativity and stories!

Only three?! Okay, here goes:
1. Hearing my son SCREAM as soon as he was born. Best.sound.ever.
2. Falling asleep with him on my chest. Several times.
3. Taking him out by myself for the first time and realizing I was capable and created to be his mother.
P.S. Either you are pregnant or we are both having Major baby fever 😉
ana {bluebirdkisses}
These are so beautiful! I love seeing these old lovely photos.
Baby J is still pretty little, but I miss the crazy face yawns, sighing noises, and his first oohs and ahhhs
Erin
Love this post…a few simple words that every mom can relate to! Three favorites:
–Realizing shortly after my first was born that having a child filled a place in my heart that I hadn’t known was empty…and knowing I’d never be the same.
–11 o’clock at night, hand-washing dishes with one hand while holding a fussy baby in the other arm, and realizing I had ‘arrived’–I was officially supermom.
–giving my sweet 1 year old a hug, and feeling her squeeze my neck, and then affectionately pat my back…
And so many more!
Karri
1- open mouthed kisses
2- hearing those happy coos and noises from the bedroom in the morning
3- when my babies (um, 8 and 9 year olds now!) fall asleep next to me in bed (yes! they still love to sleep with mama!) and i stare at their precious faces, their beautiful eyelids and eyelashes, the scent of their sweaty bodies, the way they love to curl up to me no matter how far i move away from them in bed….
Tara
sigh…
the first moment i saw him and his long, gorgeous red hair
the first time he let out a soft little laugh, and i started crying
when he was smaller and used to come into bed with me in the morning, nurse, and then sleep next to me for another 2 hours, smiling in his sleep all the while…
babies are so magical.
Libby
he is seriously suuuch a cute little baby! I cant wait to be a mom..too bad i have 2-3 years to wait, booo!
Kelsey
Thanks for asking Ashley!! P.S. I’d love to hear yours! 🙂
– Watching my two loves (my son, Oliver and his Daddy) play and laugh together.
– Those times when he was itty-bitty and he would nap on my chest and smile those sweet little “I swear it’s not just gas” smiles.
– The first time he reached for me for comfort. Like actually reach reached. He wanted his Momma…it doesn’t get much better than that. 🙂

nursing in the middle of the night (and then that blissful morning when I didn’t do it at all … but missed it all the same)
when he was so small he would pull his knees up to his chest and sleep on my chest (love when he still tries to do it)
when he signed for more and the realization that I taught him how to do that
Kayla
-Not being able to sleep even though I am exhausted because all I want to do is watch him sleep, catching every single smile!
-Tickling him while he laughs and laughs!
-Kissing his chubby cheeks over and over again, even after he whines in protest!
Being a Mom is the best!!!

Oh, I giggled giddy giggles through this entire post. SO STINKIN’ CUTE! Ah, babies grow up too too fast. It kind of makes me sad. My first is five and my second is two. I can’t believe it? What happened to that time? Did I enjoy it enough? Did I celebrate every day? Every seemingly insignificant moment? I hope to always live “in the now.” Thanks for making me smile tonight!
Cait
I think I may have told you this before but I just think you are a wonderful writer and an adorable person. 🙂
Three of my favorite, cherished moments that my little moose has given me:
1. Open mouth kisses and at the last precise moment before my lips touch his he sticks his tongue out. 🙂
2. His little ‘dancing’ at any noise we make or out of tune song we sing.
3. The moment when he runs up to me and wraps his arms around my legs and looks up at me with the most precious sincere grin on his face.
I love being a mommy. My little moose will be 1 on the 29th. Time flies.
HERVE LEGER
can be especially difficult to achieve with a knit because they’re all Herve Leger Bandage Dress going to be formed to the body.
